“Cultured” Lunches

How is it almost Thursday again, already? This week has flown by! I must admit, these two lunches I’ve just made are far from exciting. Tonight, we had karate for my Bigs and I had grocery shopping. And that was just this evening. I think I lost my creative lunch-making ideas on Aisle 6 (the chips and salsa aisle). But at least my kids won’t go hungry, amirite?

My small fella is in Mom’s Morning Out tomorrow. I still am not comfortable sending him in with things that need to be refrigerated. I feel he’d try to eat the ice pack or chuck it at someone. So, for now, he gets PB&J. I also packed Goldfish crackers (I actually think they are a bit expired #oops #dontthinkhewillnotice), a banana, and a frozen Simply Go Gurt (I will put it in the lunchbox in the morning and it will be nice and cold by lunchtime).

For my Bigs:

I have a ham and cheese slider (with mayo), seasoned corn, Concord grapes, a frozen Go Gurt, a mini chocolate chip cookie, and one Hershey’s kiss. He won’t even notice how snooze-ville this lunch is because he’ll think he’s won the jackpot with that Hershey’s kiss.
