I’m don’t know about where you are, but where I am, Spring has sprung. Actually, to be honest, it feels like Summer. It’s way too soon for that mess.
To keep it Spring-y around here, I made a sweet tulip lunch for my Bigs:
I made a tulip-shaped cream cheese and jam sandwich. I also packed assorted raisins, honey wheat pretzels, a mandarin orange with a blueberry, Greek yogurt with flower sprinkles, and three little yogurt star cookies from TJ’s.
Yesssss! We made it to Friday! I made a froggy lunch for my Bigs, to round out Pond Week.
Oddly enough, the kids are learning about turtles tomorrow (had a turtle lunch today) and learned about frogs today. I made a googly eyed PB&J frog. He’s sitting like a boss upon his crusty lilly pad. I decorated his pad with a few flower sprinkles, affixed with PB glue. I also packed grapes, honey wheat pretzels, and some marshmallows “flies” for dessert.
